About ICEI

Involve Community Engagement Initiative (ICEI) is a non-governmental organization registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria on February 8, 2021. We were birthed with a clear mandate: “to open the eyes of the people and turn them from darkness to light” (Acts 28:18).

ICEI is a beacon of light among African NGOs, dedicated to actively engaging communities in practices that drive the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while also nurturing the spiritual capacity of people. By combining social development with faith-based principles, we set the tone for a holistic approach to building better lives and stronger societies.

Volunteering with ICEI was a very rewarding experience for me. The program focused on empowering young school children, and I truly appreciated being part of an initiative that encouraged them to dream bigger and aim higher.

Volunteering with the Involve Community Engagement Initiative was a truly eye opening experience. It was my first time volunteering and I felt proud to be part of such an impactful initiative.

My experience as a volunteer at ICEI(Involve Community Engagement Initiative) was insightful and educative. I personally had an improvement in my networking skill, as I heard to communicate with other volunteers and people present at the event. I was also educated on the mental health of teenager, which is a plus for me.

Phillip Adepoju

Ok.... It was a wonderful experience for me... That was my first time volunteering for anything and I really learnt a lot..... Especially from the talk on mental health issues and how to scale through it
